Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Task Bun ("we", "us", "our") and govern your access to and use of our websites, applications and services (the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" refers to that organisation.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) on a per-seat basis, through our payment processor. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees, including taxes, until you cancel.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. Adding seats or upgrading mid-cycle is prorated; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.

• Fees are stated exclusive of taxes unless noted.
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes other than those on our net income.
• Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• Break the law or infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
• Upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, or circumvent any usage limits.
• Resell, sublicense or use the Service to build a competing product.
• Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory or otherwise objectionable content.

You retain all ownership of the boards, cards, files and other content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights necessary to submit it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

The Service, including its software, design, trademarks and documentation, is owned by Task Bun and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; no other rights are granted.

We work hard to keep the Service available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features from time to time, and will give reasonable notice of material adverse changes where practical.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or where required by law.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. You may export Your Content for a reasonable period after cancellation, after which it may be permanently deleted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Task Bun will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you, for example by email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
